Notes: The start point is at the Hepburn Blowhole, a very interesting water feature created by gold miners the past. There is a stepping stone crossing of the creek, so it is subject to seasonal rainfall. The walk includes a lovely section walking along a water race or channel also created by the miners, which then becomes a lengthy ridge line walk that affords great views to the north and Mt Franklin, a prominent landmark and extinct volcano. The return leg of the loop has elevated views back into Daylesford and a concludes with a walk above the Sailors creek gorge and the Blowhole itself is the finale. Allow three to four hours. The parking spot is about eight minutes from Daylesford.
