GPS Treasure Hunt.

$50 for one or two Treasure Hunters. $10 per additional Treasure Hunter, ie $60 for three Treasure Hunters, $70 for four and so on. Five year old and under free. Extra GPS units for groups/families with 5 or more participants, no charge.

Available 9.30am to 3.00pm most days.

Meeting place / Consultation.

The Treasure Hunt meeting place and Walks consultation is at the Lake Daylesford carpark in Leggatt st where you’ll see a children’s playground and beside it is a sheltered BBQ. The BBQ is the spot! Also just beside Splinters cafe who make a thoroughly good coffee and other cafe fare.

About.

Secret Forest Walks commenced in Daylesford in 2010 from a desire to share magnificent but unknown walks in the local area. Hence the name. Hand held GPS devices made reliable and detailed navigation possible through secluded and highly scenic forest terrain. The GPS devices doubled for GeoCache hunting, redeveloped as GPS Treasure Hunts for families and friends to enjoy as well as Team Activities for visiting conference groups. In 2022 a fierce storm felled large numbers of trees along many of the Secret Forest Walks trails, with later flooding effecting the remaining walks.  So ending what was a unique and valued activity in its time. With not quite the same adventure, but with more of an emphasis on fun, discovery and group enjoyment, Secret Forest Walks uses the natural beauty of the Daylesford and Hepburn landmarks for outdoor activities that everyone can enjoy.

Payment
Cash always welcome to avoid bank fees. Credit cards accepted.

Cancellations
Late notice cancellations are an unfortunate occurrence. Out of consideration for the endeavour and preparation involved in fulfilling a booking, we ask for a $25 cancellation fee, payable by direct deposit or card.
Team Builder Activities are subject to a separate arrangement.

Activities will not be available on days of Total Fire Ban or other days of clearly unsafe conditions.
