Commencing at Hepburn Springs Bath House, this walk goes down, (then up) the northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range. It is rich in history, with stone remnants from the gold mining era and some impressive vistas from Jacksons Lookout Tower and a hilltop panorama. (Some say you can see Adelaide from there on a clear night). It’s a testing walk through character laden open Box forest with native grasses and Cherry Ballart features.

The half way mark is the extraordinary Chocolate Mill – http://chocmill.com.au
A perfect recharge point. Their hot chocolate drink is ridiculous. The return loop features the sizeable Hunts dam and the quiet Argyle Spring, for replenishment with mineral water. Bird and wildlife abounds.
Consider a spa bath at the completion of the walk. You’ll feel that you’ve earned it.

And remember – Walk + Spa = Good Times.
